Dev Update: Precipice (7/9/2026)

It has been another busy week of playtesting, prepping files, and more! Let’s get you caught up on Precipice!

Arbelos Story 3: Reverberation

“‘And there are monsters,’ he said. I didn’t know what Tahl had seen on his last trip in The Serpent’s Maw, and he didn’t elaborate that day. I thought he was trying to rattle me. Maybe he was. And maybe it should have rattled me more.”

-Excerpt from In the Serpent’s Maw: The Secret Conflict on the Icano Peninsula

Chapter 3 is up to read now! And if you haven’t yet jumped in on the Arbelos stories, you can start here at Chapter 1.

Art of Arbelos: A Chat with Tim Taylor

The M-Traks have come a long way from my original Sculpey designs and STLs. How did they get to where they are today? Find out a bit about the process as I talk to concept artist Tim Taylor about his process, 80s OVAs, and rotating robots in your head!

2 v 1 Scenario Design

Sometimes, you don’t have an even number of players. Precipice will support multiplayer formats, and that includes asymmetrical scenarios. In a hard-fought TTS game, I discovered the risks of being the “1” in a 2v1 when testers Ken and Rome torched my haulers before destroying my mech in a single (very well-set-up) shot! If you’re interested in getting involved in the testing (and beating me at my own game, probably handily), join the mailing list to sign up for the Community Discord!
