Our Story So Far…

My name is Max Brooke, founder of Wild Plum Games. In 2011, I started my career in the games industry as a roleplaying games producer.

Over the years, I gained experience in numerous areas, including project management, content design, and system design.

I struck out on my own as a freelancer in 2020, working on a number of novel designs and as a consultant. I’ve been lucky enough to work on some fantastic projects with great partners. If you’re interested, you can read more about those projects on my personal website.

In 2024, I had an important realization: there are some games that I only want to make on my own terms, in line with my own passion, vision, and principles. To make these games, I needed to launch my own game studio.

That’s why Wild Plum Games exists.
